Mōkihinui Tides is descriptive of the myriad tidal moods of the Mōkihinui River at it's meeting with the ocean.

As the tide comes in, the fast flowing river swirls and swells to more than twice it's width. Moments of respite and calm are followed by ever-stronger surges as the river succumbs to the pulsating power of the ocean.
